What different stages of volcanoes?
There are three different types of volcanoes. There are active, dormant and extinct volcanoes.
ACTIVE
Active volcanoes mean that it is possible it may erupt soon, or can erupt.
DORMANT
Dormant volcanoes are when it has not erupted in a long time but it can still erupt.
EXTINCT
Extinct volcanoes mean that the volcano has erupted thousands of years ago, and cannot erupt again.
